SAFE WATER
Water sampling bottles are available year round at the Norfolk County Satellite Office, 22 Albert St. Langton, Monday through Thursday. Results are received in 3 to 7 days at no charge.

South Walsingham Transfer Station Disposal Fees
Located on the 1180 Third Concession east of Hwy #59. The standard charge is $122 per metric tonne with a minimum charge of $16 payable on exiting in Cash, Debit, Visa or Mastercard. Personal cheques are NOT accepted. In addition: Recycling bins are available for cans and cardboard free of charge. CAR TIRES — call for information or contact your local garage to inquire about free drop off. Check locations at www.rethinktires.ca.
YARD WASTE will be accepted free of charge at both transfer stations (brush excluded) in bulk or in paper bags. Yard waste brought in plastic bags must be emptied at the site. ACCEPTABLE YARD WASTE includes - leaves, grass clippings, weeds, garden plants & flowers. NOT ACCEPTABLE: Kitchen scraps, rocks, dirt, sod, brush, tree stumps, flower pots/trays, animal waste, railway ties, painted or treated wood, plastic bags.
Hours of Operation: - Mon-Fri 10:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Winter Hours: - Closed Tuesday and Thursday mid October to Victoria Day.
Year Round: Closed Sundays and Stat Holidays

May 25, 2019 at 340 Argyle St. (At the end of Argyle St.) Delhi between 9:00 a.m. & 12:00 p.m.
September 14, 2019 at 1630 County Rd. 45 (west of Hazen Rd.) Langton between 9:00 a.m. & 12:00 p.m.
October 12, 2019 at 135 Hamilton Plank Road, (Water Tower) Port Dover between 9:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m.

BULKY ITEM PICK-UP
Bulk Pick-Ups have been cancelled but they have been replaced with $16Dollar Days when you can take up to 1 metric tonne to the transfer station for $16(usual charge for 1 tonne would be $122). The dates for this year are still to be announced. Watch local papers or call Norfolk Public Works at 519-428-0020 or 519-582-2100 or on-line at www.norfolkcounty.ca for more information.
LEAF PICK-UP
There are 6 leaf pick-ups in the spring of 2019- April 22, 29 and May 6, 13, Tuesday 21, and May 27. There will be 6 leaf pick-ups in the fall of 2019- October 21, 28 & November 4, 11, 18, & 25. Leaves will only be accepted in paper leaf bags.
CHRISTMAS TREECYCLE
Take your tree to the depots listed below to be chipped into mulch and compost for municipal gardens. Remember to 1. Remove all decorations, lights, wire, tree skirts, stands and nails. 2. Do not use plastic fke snow on your tree; your tree cannot be recycled. 3. Avoid using a plastic tree bag; re-use an old sheet or blanket instead.
